The Loch Ness Lochside Hostel has a chilling history tied to the tragic love triangle between Malcolm, Alasdair, and Annie Fraser. According to accounts, Malcolm discovered his brother with Annie and in a fit of rage killed both brothers. He then hid Annie's body under the floorboards of the hostel before attempting to escape by crossing the loch. Tragically, he drowned in the process.
