Mischievous Poltergeist of White Hart
White Hart Inn Inn, Bristol
The White Hart Inn on Lower Maudlin Street in Bristol has a reputation for being one of the city's most haunted locations. This historic inn has been home to a particularly mischievous poltergeist, known as Aloysius, which was named by the wife of a former landlord. The entity was known to cause trouble by throwing small items around the bedroom and smashing plates in the kitchen. It seems that Aloysius had a bit of a schedule, becoming active for a three to four week period before falling silent again for a while.
