A licensee once told of seeing the train of a pale coloured frilly dress on the stairs; the door at the bottom had opened and the dress was pulled through ... but there was no-one there a few second later. The same phantom (?) was seen going up the stairs to the top floor having surprised an American guest on the floor below.
